Step 1: Turn on the camera.

NOTE: If the iPhoto software starts automatically, close the software.
Step 2: Connect the camera directly to the USB port on the computer.
Step 3: Copy image files.

  • In the Finder Bar, select Go then Computer.
  • Click NO NAME (NO NAME) or the UNTITLED (UNTITLED) icon.
  • Locate the image file you want to transfer.

  2. Press and hold the SHIFT key.
  3. While holding the SHIFT key, click to select the picture you want to transfer.
  4. After you are finished selecting an image, release SHIFT.

Step 4: Press Command + C to copy the files.

Step 5: Paste the photo files onto your computer.
In the Finder Bar, select Go, All my files, and then select Pictures.

  • Press Command + V to paste the file into the Pictures folder.
  • After copying files to your computer, you can use iPhoto, PlayMemories Home or Image Data Converter or other photo software to view the images.

IMPORTANT: If image files are copied to a computer in RAW format, you will first need to use Image Data Converter software to convert RAW files to JPEG or TIFF images before you can view the images in most photo software.

NOTE: If you don't remember the folder where the file was saved, you can use the search function on your Mac.
