How To Download Backup From Google
Google Drive is a very popular cloud storage service and is chosen by many users today besides OneDrive. Google Drive provides a solution to more efficient, more and faster data storage. The service stands out with built-in online tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheet, ... and the feature to set permissions to view or edit stored data content.
However, what if you want a complete refresh or don't even want to use Google Drive anymore? In this article I will guide you how to download backup from google to your personal computer, please read along.
Method 1. Download all data on Google Drive from the web interface
Step 1. First you need to visit this address and login to your Google account.
Step 2. In the main management interface of Google Drive, click on View to have a comprehensive view of your saved data (as shown below).

Step 3. Now press Ctrl + A to select all the data saved on Drive (as shown below).
Step 4. When you have selected all the data, click on the 3-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen => and click Download / Download.

At this point, the system will begin to compress the data into a ZIP file before the download begins.

After the data compression process is complete, Google Drive will proceed to download the data and you just agree to it. When you want to use the downloaded data, you just need to unzip the data.
The biggest limitation of this approach is pre-compressing the data
Method 2. Use Google Takeout tool
Another faster, simpler way offered by Google is the Google Takeout service. How to use the Google Takeout tool as follows:
Step 1. First, access the Google Takeout service address and use your Google account to log in.
Step 2. Now a list of all Google data services will appear, click Deselect all as shown below.

Step 3. Continue to select Drive as shown below.

Once done, scroll down and click Next as shown below.
Step 4. Here, Google Drive will provide options for you to download data. Click Export once as shown below, then click Create Export file.

Google will take steps to make copies of the files in Drive. It can take a long time (possibly hours or days) to finish exporting data. You will receive an email once the export is complete.
When the process is complete, Google will send you a notification with a download link in your Gmail inbox.

So we have two ways to download all data from Google Drive to the computer, in my opinion, the second way will be more convenient because it helps us to be proactive in our time and work.
