How To Download All Photos And Videos From Google Photos
Looking for a quick and easy way to download all photos and videos from Google Photos? Want to make a backup on your device or build a personal movie and need all of the content stored offline for editing purposes?
Download all photos and videos from google photos
Either way, you always have a simple way to get all your content from Google Photos. Here's a Blebees article that will show you how to do it.
It's also worth noting that if you simply want to download a few albums, it's easier to do it manually. Select any album and then click the three-dot button in the upper right corner. You will see an option called Download All.

This will download all the images and videos in that album in ZIP format. The only problem with this method is that you cannot use it to download any images or videos you upload from the Google Photos app on your phone or tablet.
Extract Google Photos data
There are two ways you can access the Google Takeout service. The easiest way is to go to the link below: https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout
The better way to go around is to visit Google.com, and then click on your avatar in the upper right corner.

Click My Account and you'll be taken to a dashboard page for all the settings related to your Google account. Under the Personal info & privacy section, choose b.
You will see the Download your data dialog box and the path named Create Archive.
Here, you can choose what data you want to compress and download. By default, all data will be selected. Let's continue by pressing the Select none button and then move the switch at Google Photos to the right.
You can click the down arrow button and choose Select photo albums if you want to select individual albums.
Note that, if you have uploaded multiple images and videos from your phone, Google Photos will automatically create albums with names corresponding to the date it was created. In my case, we only create about 450 albums ourselves, but we have over 2500 albums on Google Photos because we have Camera Upload enabled on smartphone.
Leave the option Include all photos albums unchanged if you want to download everything. Scroll to the bottom and press the Next button.
On the next screen, you have to choose the type of format you want to use to compress the data. If you choose the ZIP format, anything over 2GB will be split into multiple ZIP files.
This is quite annoying if you have hundreds of GB of data stored in the cloud. In our case, we have 550GB of photos and videos, so we definitely don't want to have to click on 225 download links. We did it once and it was terrible.
Fortunately, you can choose from other formats like TGZ and TBZ. You won't be able to open these formats using Windows, but you can download a free software like 7-Zip to open them. Also note that using the ZIP format will be much faster since each file created is only 2GB in size.
If you choose any other format, the limit per file can go up to 50GB. In our case, only 11 paths were generated instead of 225, which is clearly much more convenient. It will take longer to create TGZ or TBZ archives, but normally it only takes a few hours.
By default, you will receive an email with a download link once the archive has been created. If you want, you can also directly save the compressed file to Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Click the Create Archive button and the file creation will begin.

You can close your web browser and compression and file creation will continue. You can always go back to the Google Takeout page and then click Manage Archives to see the progress of the work.

In short, Google has made it really easy to download data from its services, which is something other services of the same kind have yet to do.
