If UNO means one, DOS is two. Mattel gave birth to the successor of UNO after more than 40 dominations.

Dos Card Game goals

Become the first player to run out of cards by matching (the same) with cards in the center of the table and earning points from the rest of the hand. The first person to reach 200 points wins.
Variation rules: the first person to run out of cards in hand is the winner.

Dos card game how to play

  • Each player draws 1 card, the player with the highest number will have to deal (the special symbol counts as 0).
  • Divide each player 7 cards.
  • Place and turn 2 cards upside down in the middle of the table, this area is called the "center area".

The player to the left of the dealer plays the first hand.
During your turn, you must match 1 or both of the cards in the center area with your hand, or draw more cards.

Joint
You can play cards on hand in the center area in 2 ways:
Single Match: Play 1 card that matches the number of 1 of the cards in the center area.

Double Match: Play 2 cards equal to 1 of the cards in the center area.

If possible, in one turn, you can play to match cards in the center area (don't use the same card to match multiple cards in the center area).

Color matching bonus
If the card you play matches the color of the card in the center where you match the number, you will be awarded with the matching color.

Single color match: if the card you play matches the number and color with a card in the center area, at the end of the turn, you are allowed to place 1 card face down from your hand to the center area.

Double Matching: If the 2 cards you play have a total of 1 of the cards in the center area and the color of those 2 cards and the matched card then other players must draw 1 card and at the end of the turn, you are entitled to Place 1 leaf upside down from hand to center area.
Playing cards
If you can't (or don't want) a match, you must draw 1 card. If you can match after hand, you can. If you have picked and cannot match, place 1 card on your back from your hand to the center area.

End of turn

Take all the cards you have played, include the cards from the matched center, and place them on the pile. If there are less than 2 cards left in the center area, take the cards from the stack of cards and place them in the center area for all 2 cards.

There is no maximum limit to the number of cards in the center area, so there can be more than 2 cards in the center area.
